Where does understanding begin?

About this series of reflections

Starry Sky

. . . God was going to begin something with that formless, silent stuff.  He was going to give shape to a place, and He was going to give movement to the lifeless.  We get our first orientation from our surroundings, and from the experience of the past and anticipation of the future.  We live within place and time.

God did not make us adrift in a random multiverse.  He brought us into a meaningful universe He had already designed for our habitation.  He filled silence with His own meaning–not a meaning that changed from what was thought before, but the original meaning from which all meaning is birthed.  He did not create something pointless.  Everything would be relational, because everything would begin with communication.

He would create everything by speaking. . .
